Some highlights from a walk in the charles river peninsula just outside of boston. I spent a couple days in the area after my trip to new york and did very very little outside of relaxing, watching some garbage tv and taking this spectacular walk. We saw turtles, baby turtles, a nest of eggs, an old rail line, and lots and lots of reflections. I missed bougainvillea, of course, but the east coast made up for it in spades by offering up some beautiful rhodedendrons:
Took a break over thanksgiving weekend and slowed down. Ended up splurging on these incredible flowers from cookbook and trying them on all over the house. Then I tested out my old polaroid (buy film here). Turns out this one doesn’t work. But I still like the results. More like paintings than pictures.
I love letting peonies have their full life cycle. And then some. (Here’s how they started.)
Happy weekend everyone. I’m doing some more work this weekend for the same place I was so excited about last week. Maybe you’ve heard of it? THE NEW YORK TIMES? Details next week!
Last month I got a chance to meet Leila from Be Inspired PR for a shoot for the latest issue of Rue. It was great fun styling with Anne, Rue’s Executive Editor, and Carissa of JL Designs who’s a genius with flowers.
